The Richford site is just establishing their garden for the first time this year. The space they have created is wonderful including large raised beds set out into long rows. The children have space to spread out but still feel connected to the larger group. And – with such a large garden – there is plenty of space for growing lots of food and plenty of weeding to keep the children interested. Some of the garden is designated for the larger community and families have signed up for plots. This is another wonderful way to connect the garden program to the larger community.
Crepes
